Education & Credentials

Dr. Chaturani Ranasinghe is a double board–certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain medicine physician. After earning her medical degree from the University of Miami in 2006 and completing a residency in anesthesiology, she completed a pain management fellowship at New York University Medical Center. She later served on the faculty of both institutions, directing the University of Miami’s Pain Medicine fellowship and mentoring future physicians. Dr. Ranasinghe views pain medicine as both a science and an art—an evolving discipline that requires ongoing study—and she prioritizes continual learning to stay at the forefront of emerging treatments.

Dr. Ranasinghe went on to establish an integrative pain clinic in Naples, Florida, building a strong reputation for combining advanced techniques with compassionate care. As an interventional pain specialist, she employs minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures and collaborates closely with other specialists. She has particular expertise in chronic pelvic pain, training under national expert Dr. Robert Echenberg. She offers a broad range of targeted therapies—including trigger point injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and botulinum toxin injections—to restore function and improve quality of life for both men and women suffering from this often‑misunderstood condition. Motivated by her own health experiences, she pursued further education in hormone replacement therapy and now provides individualized hormone management to optimize health, and well‑being.

Committed to patient education and lifelong learning, she continually seeks out new knowledge and techniques to help her patients achieve lasting relief and long-term wellness.
